When you’re photographing a family as warm and joyful as the Thomases, you have to find a space that matches their vibe. Cue: the magic of John’s Greenhouse.
This was my first time shooting at this dreamy Kansas City location, and let’s just say… it won’t be my last. The natural light, the cozy greenery, the quiet tucked-away feel—it was the perfect backdrop for this laid-back, love-filled family session.
And while the greenhouse plants were thriving… I can’t say the same for my studio plants (RIP to the ones I forgot to water—again). Let’s just say I’ll stick to being a Kansas City family photographer and leave the horticulture to the pros.
